I have actually completed something for a change! I had this soft adorable scarf yarn that I had purchased from Hobby Lobby along with some coordinating I Love This Yarn. I just made a few mini-granny squares and joined them with the scarf yarn. Then I did a border around the entire scarf and added some tassels. It's a very quick and simple scarf. I do love the colors. So this quick project took care of some of my
scarf envy from Pinterest. It is also satisfying when I work on a project that I designed myself (even though it wasn't a very complicated design). :-)

Take a moment and check out other FOs at
Tami's Amis Blog. Have a great weekend! It is forecasting for a rainy weekend so I might be able to finish up some projects.
Fab scarf :) I keep seeing granny square scarves around the internet, tempted to have a go at one myself. I love the fringe on yours
ReplyDeleteThanks :) It is such an easy scarf to whip up, you should definitely give it a go.
ReplyDeleteNow that's clever - working up an entire scarf around a handful of grannies! Well done!
ReplyDeleteOh, it looks so lovely and soft! Love the luxurious fringe.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, and the colours are so pretty.
